New Message Notifications​

New messages are indicated by:

  1. A red dot on the client’s chat icon.
  2. A red dot on the contact’s avatar in chat.

Chat Window​

The chat window is designed for both one-on-one and group chats, with a familiar interface:

  1. Chat Window: View conversation history.
  2. + Button: Send images, files, or more.

  1. Input Box: Enter text. Supports long text and Markdown formatting. If a message exceeds 5000 characters, it is automatically converted into a file for sending.

  1. Emojis: Add emoji reactions.
  2. Voice Messages: Record and send voice messages.
  3. Chat Info: View details about the chat partner:
  • Profile picture and nickname
  • Add remarks
  • Pin or mute chat
  • Files Management
  • Enable Auto Translate
  • Delete conversation (deletes all local records; the recipient still retains theirs)

Sending Images and Files​

  • Album: Send images from your gallery.
  • Camera: Take a photo and send it.
  • Video: Record a video and send it.
  • Local Files: Upload files from your phone.
  • NAS Files: Send files stored on the Weline Pro device.

Sending Voice Messages​

Press and hold the microphone button to record and send voice messages.

Message Interactions​

Long-press a message to access the interaction menu. Options vary by message type (text, file, voice):

  • Quote: Reply to a specific message.

  • Copy: Copy the content.

  • Forward: Forward to another chat.

  • Multi-Select: Select multiple messages to forward or delete.

  • Save to NAS: Save attachments directly to your Weline Pro device.

  • Download: Save attachments to your mobile device.

  • Emoji Reply: React to a message with emojis.

  • Recall: Withdraw a message you sent.

  • Delete: Remove the message (local deletion only).

  • AI Agent Tools:

    • Translate: Translate into Chinese, English, or Japanese.
    • Reply Suggestions: AI generates multiple suitable replies.
    • Speech Recognition: Convert a voice message into text.
    • Summarize: AI generates a summary of the message.

  • URL Links: Tap to open in your browser.

Supported Media File Formats in IM​

The IM feature supports previewing media attachments. The supported formats are as follows:
